Jerrod A Trainer, ALC, CCIM, of Valdosta, GA, who was pinned Oct. 8, 2025, in Vancouver, BC, found himself in need of a path forward. Flashback five and a half years ago to early 2020. Trainer recalls applying for numerous jobs only to be unsuccessful time after time. The straw that broke the camel's back came after being rejected for a less than minimum wage, part-time dishwasher job at Outback Steakhouse.

Networking that Builds Lasting Value 

Last February, the Texas REALTORS^© celebrated their members and local associations during their Winter Meeting in Austin. The event included awards given to outstanding individuals, highlighting their dedication and demonstration of excellence in the real estate industry.  

Jaime Henson, CCIM, is a commercial real estate broker with Crye-Leike Commercial in Memphis and the 2025 CCIM Memphis Metro Chapter President. Her real estate career began on the residential side; her mother worked in residential for years. She found out it was not where she wanted to be.

“I had joined Crye as a residential agent in 2018. I found out really quickly that it was not for me,” Henson said. “My mother has been in the industry for 40 something years and so here I thought I could help her.”
