Global Opportunities: The Global Impact of Membership
Commercial real estate is built on relationships, and few networks open more doors than membership with The CCIM Institute. As our Designees know, connections within this community can turn local opportunities into global success stories. Renewing your membership means staying part of a network that spans 60 chapters worldwide, where professionals share knowledge, make deals, and support one another’s growth.
Ever-Expanding Global Reach
The CCIM international network is continuously growing. This year, we brought our newly re-conceptualized Forums to Vancouver, BC, for the 2025 Fall Forum. Cementing our role as an international organization, the Forum brought CCIMs and testing candidates from around the globe to Canada’s beautiful and bustling West Coast.
The Fall Forum also saw the return of the Global Lunch, which addressed trends, issues, and ideas from markets all over the world. Attendees received insights from Ayman Al Awadhi, Managing Director, Axeed Space, on the UAE market, including property tokenization, comprehensive economic agreements, and mixed-use projects designed to integrate sustainability, community, and business. Machiko Kotani, CCIM, Chapter President of CCIM Japan, and Marris Hsieh, CCIM, Chapter President of CCIM Taiwan, discussed how tariffs, supply chain shifts, and ESG policies are influencing their markets.
Our focus on building and nurturing relationships has led to major progress in expanding education across borders, partnering with Narxoz Business School in Almaty, Kazakhstan, and MVJE García y Asociados in Mexico City. The Kazakhstan partnership marks the dawn of The Institute’s presence in Central Asia.
Three key East Asian chapters have now formed Region 13. Codified during the 2025 Fall Forum, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan chapters can now bring their individual resources together to provide The Designation Curriculum to professionals in their respective countries.
With quarterly international updates from our Global President, we get to see the growth and impact of our international chapters in our Travel Blogs. Celebrating and appreciating the victories of our international chapters and Designees sets the stage for mutual respect and collaboration among all CCIMs and chapters, no matter what continent they hail from.
A Global Network with Local Impact
From regional chapter events to international partnerships, The CCIM Institute connects professionals across markets and continents. Our members collaborate daily to close transactions, explore investments, and exchange insight on emerging trends.
“I found the Deal Pitch Lunch at the 2025 Fall Forum valuable. I got a lot of exposure for my deal and had follow up conversations that are continuing to lead to new potential transactions, and an expanded network of high caliber brokers throughout the country,” Julian Scurci, CCIM, of San Francisco, said.
That experience reflects the spirit of The CCIM Institute’s network: members helping members succeed. Whether you are joining a local chapter meeting or attending a global event, you are part of a community that transforms introductions into opportunities.
