Strengthen Your Leadership Skills
Program Overview
The JWL Leadership Program incorporates a variety of learning methods and experiences to provide a well-rounded education in leadership aimed to equip participants with the skills and self-knowledge necessary for leadership roles within The CCIM Institute, their communities, and their professional careers. The small class setting of the JWL Leadership Program contributes to fostering a strong sense of camaraderie among its participants.
This program will have four (4) in-person sessions in 2027. A detailed schedule will be posted soon. Tentative Program schedule:
- February – Location TBD
- March – Held in conjunction with the Spring Forum
- July/August – Chicago, IL (CCIM Institute Headquarters)
- October – Helf in conjunction with the Fall Forum
CCIM Designees interested in advancing their leadership skills are encouraged to apply.

Scholarship Opportunity
The Lenn and Groeneveld Fund for Leadership Development was created in honor of Dr. Jeffrey Lenn, CCIM and Susan J. Groeneveld, CCIM for their hard work and dedication to the CCIM Institute and the Jay W. Levine Leadership Development Academy. This scholarship includes:
- $2,500 for the JWL Academy tuition fee
- $2,500 travel stipend.
The selection will be primarily based on merit, with consideration of financial need.

History
The JWL Leadership Development Academy is named in honor of Jay W. Levine, CCIM, the Institute's first president and its second Designee. Levine was instrumental in the creation and growth of The CCIM Institute and the The CCIM Institute Foundation.
