THE FUTURE OF CRE TAKES CENTER STAGE

Day Two of the 2026 Fall Forum brought big ideas.

From data centers and AI to the future of brokerage, location intelligence and the technology changing how CRE professionals work, Monday was packed with conversations about where the industry is headed and how to not only prepare but be ready for it.

Turning Technology into Opportunity

The day got moving with Tech Talks, presented by Crexi, where attendees explored practical ways to put data and technology to work. Sessions covered everything from market analysis, demographics and site selection to predictive intelligence, parcel-level insights, and AI-powered research.

Industry Insights expanded the conversation with perspectives on oil and gas as part of a real estate investment strategy and updates on securities offerings.

One of CRE’s fastest-evolving sectors took the spotlight with a deep dive into data center development. The conversation explored what it takes to move a project from raw land to an operating asset including power, infrastructure and site viability. The discussion also reinforced something bigger: successful projects require early community engagement, strong relationships, and an understanding of the political and regulatory environment surrounding a site. The takeaway from both conversations? Embrace the technology but keep investing in the human expertise that makes it valuable.

Celebrating the CCIM Community

After a day focused on what’s next, the evening celebrated the people helping move the industry forward.

The CCIM Celebration of Excellence recognized outstanding members, instructors, volunteers and dealmakers, while a special fireside chat with Rick Caruso, Founder and Executive Chairman of Caruso®, brought additional perspectives on real estate, development, leadership and philanthropy.

And throughout the day, the Dealmaking & Networking Lounge, presented by Colliers, kept conversations and opportunities moving forward as attendees connected, shared active deals and expanded their relationships across the CCIM Network.

One day. Big ideas. New tools. Stronger connections. And plenty more 2026 Fall Forum still ahead.
