Education Component
The education component of the CCIM Designation program consists of four Designation courses, an online ethics course, negotiation training, and elective courses from the Robert L. Ward Center for Commercial Real Estate Studies.

Portfolio of Qualifying Experience
To demonstrate your experience in commercial real estate, you must submit a portfolio of qualifying activities, transactions, projects, or work products. Your portfolio can take one of three forms, depending on your level of experience and the type of work you have done.

Comprehensive Exam
The Comprehensive Exam is a full-day exam that tests your knowledge of the concepts covered in the Designation courses. Before taking the exam, you will have the opportunity to review the key topics that will be covered in the Course Concepts Review.
