How The CCIM Institute Transformed My Career

Jerrod A Trainer, ALC, CCIM, of Valdosta, GA, who was pinned Oct. 8, 2025, in Vancouver, BC, found himself in need of a path forward. Flashback five and a half years ago to early 2020. Trainer recalls applying for numerous jobs only to be unsuccessful time after time. The straw that broke the camel's back came after being rejected for a less than minimum wage, part-time dishwasher job at Outback Steakhouse.

The CCIM Institute Abroad: Expanding & Navigating International Relations

The first half of my term as Global President flew by faster than I imagined. I anticipated a full travel schedule—and I welcomed it. Traveling and connecting with commercial real estate professionals across the globe has been both energizing and inspiring, and I am happy to share what we’ve accomplished in our first quarter:
