The CCIM Institute, the global standard in commercial real estate education, has announced a strategic initiative to expand its CCIM Designation curriculum in the United Arab Emirates. The Institute has partnered with ThinkProp, a leading government-recognized real estate training institute in the UAE, to deliver CCIM Designation courses and professional development programs throughout the region.
Jerrod A Trainer, ALC, CCIM, of Valdosta, GA, who was pinned Oct. 8, 2025, in Vancouver, BC, found himself in need of a path forward. Flashback five and a half years ago to early 2020. Trainer recalls applying for numerous jobs only to be unsuccessful time after time. The straw that broke the camel's back came after being rejected for a less than minimum wage, part-time dishwasher job at Outback Steakhouse.
The final day of the 2025 Fall Forum celebrated leadership, achievement, and the bright future of The CCIM Institute. From electing new leaders to honoring our newest Designees, the day reflected the strength, unity, and momentum of our global CCIM community.

Returning to The CCIM Institute’s Fall Forum after a standout presentation at the Spring Forum, Michael Litt brought his signature data-driven perspective on the global forces shaping financial markets and commercial real estate. Day Two of Fall Forum was the biggest of the week. Our Forum Host, Timmy Barron, kicked off the morning with plenty of energy, leading into our first event filled with economic with economic and institutional updates, setting the stage for a full day of governance meetings, educational courses, panels, and more.

The 2025 Fall Forum is officially underway—and what a start it was. From touring the city’s most dynamic developments to diving into hands-on training with Site To Do Business, attendees wasted no time immersing themselves in the learning and collaboration that define the CCIM experience.
The first half of my term as Global President flew by faster than I imagined. I anticipated a full travel schedule—and I welcomed it.
