Carl Russell, CCIM, SIOR, is Senior Commercial Broker at H. Pearce Commercial Real Estate Company in Milford, Conn. He has over 48 years of commercial real estate experience and has worked with prominent clients such as McDonald's Corp., Sikorsky Aircraft, Yale University, A.T.&T., Keystone Automotive, Luxo Corp., Batteries Plus, and 3M.

Russell has been a CCIM Institute instructor since 1980 and was recognized as Instructor of the Year in 1996 by the Institute faculty. In 1997, he also received the Victor L. Lyon Award, which is awarded to individuals who have made valuable contributions to CCIM Institute education.  He has also been honored with a Named Endowed Scholarship which was presented by the Connecticut C.C.I.M. Chapter.

In addition to teaching for C.C.I.M., Carl has been an Assistant Adjunct Professor of Real Estate at New York University. He is a past president of the CT Chapter of the Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS® (S.I.O.R), the CT C.C.I.M. Chapter, Connecticut C.I.D. chapter, and Greater New Haven Association of REALTORS®, and has been named "REALTORS®of the Year" by the Greater New Haven Board of REALTORS®.

Carl is also a past President of the Rotary Club of Orange, a member of the Orange Economic Development Corporation, and is on the Board of Directors for the Orange Development Commission.  He is also the past President of REEF, the Real Estate Education Foundation of the New Haven Board of REALTORS®.

Russell earned his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and business management at Boston University and his MBA for international trade and finance from Lehigh University.
