2026 President’s Cup & Chapter of Excellence Awards

On April 20, 2026, at the Spring Forum in Philadelphia, The CCIM Institute was thrilled to host this year’s President’s Cup Awards and Chapter of Excellence Awards, a celebration of innovation, dedication, and impact demonstrated by our chapters across the network.  

Chapter Activities Subcommittee Chair Jessica Johnson-Kelley, CCIM, and Vice Chair Michael Hinton, CCIM, served as emcees for the event.  

The President’s Cup represents the highest level of achievement—honoring chapters that go beyond the expected through creative programming, strong promotion of national and local initiatives, and meaningful efforts that drive member engagement. In addition to this top honor, Chapters of Excellence are recognized for standout performance in specific categories, highlighting the diverse ways chapters contribute to the strength of the organization. 

This year’s awards reflect both rigor and remarkable participation. Chapters were grouped into tiers based on membership size and the number of submissions, ensuring a fair and transparent evaluation process. The Chapter Activities Subcommittee carefully reviewed each application, assessing community engagement, member involvement, and overall impact. With 45 submissions representing 92-percent chapter participation, the bar was set high. The result: a slate of forward-thinking, inclusive, and innovative initiatives that truly embody the core values of the CCIM Institute.

In addition to the President’s Cup winners, select chapters were also awarded a Chapter of Excellence Award, recognizing chapters that excelled and stood out with specific accomplishments. This year, there were six awards that recognized our chapters’ ability to improve, strategize, and engage with our members and community.   

Best Networking Event  
San Antonio/South Texas CCIM Chapter  
This chapter promoted The CCIM Designation during their Donuts with Designees events, monthly luncheons, monthly newsletters, and by the Chapter President, who availed himself to contact directly about the Designation requirements and process. 

The Best Industry Event Award  
Colorado/Wyoming CCIM Chapter  
The chapter's Sponsor Appreciation Event was the cherry on top of their successful efforts in offering annual and event specific sponsorship opportunities for the first time.  

The Best Education Event Award   
Houston/Gulf Coast CCIM Chapter  
The chapter offered strong education programming, including Ward Center courses and multiple CI classes while hosting 19 events for member engagement.  

The Chapter of Excellence Award for Candidate Guidance  
Southern Arizona CCIM Chapter  
This chapter made a strategic and sustained investment in building a strong pipeline of candidates, pairing intentional outreach with focused efforts to drive course attendance—laying the essential groundwork for long-term growth and success.
