The CCIM Institute Partners with Jamaica
CHICAGO, IL – April 30, 2026 — The CCIM Institute, the global standard in commercial real estate education, and the Real Estate Training Institute, has announced a landmark strategic partnership to deliver CCIM Designation courses and professional development programs in Jamaica.
This partnership represents a significant milestone as the first CCIM Institute collaboration directly aligned with a national government in the Caribbean. Working alongside the Real Estate Board, The Real Estate Training Institute will serve as the exclusive delivery partner for CCIM education in Jamaica, creating new pathways for commercial real estate professionals to earn internationally recognized credentials and apply proven analytical frameworks in one of the Caribbean’s most dynamic markets.
Expanding into Jamaica gives CCIMs increased access to a region experiencing substantial growth in commercial development, tourism-related real estate, and cross-border investment activity.
“This collaboration is about more than education—it is about transforming Jamaica’s real estate sector. By integrating CCIM’s globally respected curriculum into our local training ecosystem, we are strengthening the technical capacity of our professionals, enhancing investor confidence, and positioning Jamaica as a premier destination for commercial real estate investment in the Caribbean,” said Dr. Tina Beale, Principal of The Real Estate Training Institute.
This expansion reinforces The CCIM Institute’s mission to elevate commercial real estate professionals worldwide through rigorous, skill-based education in financial and market analysis, investment strategy, and ethics. With presence in more than 30 countries, the Institute’s global growth strategy focuses on partnering with leading regional organizations and government bodies to deliver consistent education that responds to local market needs. CCIM members include commercial real estate brokers, investors, appraisers, bankers, attorneys, fiduciaries, asset managers, property managers, among others.
“Jamaica’s commercial real estate market is poised for significant growth, and professionals across the island deserve access to the same world-class analytical tools and education that have defined the CCIM designation for decades,” said Adam Palmer, CCIM, SIOR 2026 Global President of The CCIM Institute. “This partnership with The Real Estate Training Institute and the Government of Jamaica represents an important step in strengthening our global community. By bringing the CCIM curriculum to Jamaica, we are helping professionals apply proven investment frameworks that support smarter decisions and sustainable growth across the Caribbean.”
This partnership is grounded in a shared commitment to developing real estate talent and fostering a culture of continuous professional learning. With The Real Estate Training Institute’s deep roots in Jamaica’s education landscape and CCIM’s globally recognized curriculum, practitioners across the island will gain new pathways to deepen their expertise, broaden their career opportunities, and compete on an international stage.
“This partnership signals Jamaica’s commitment to aligning its real estate sector with the highest international standards. By embedding CCIM-level education within our national training framework, we are strengthening regulatory outcomes, improving market confidence, and positioning Jamaica as the Caribbean’s leading hub for sophisticated commercial real estate practice,” said Cresfroid Brown, Chief Executive Officer of The Real Estate Board.
Following recent institutional alliances in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, this collaboration further supports The CCIM Institute’s strategic goal of building long-term partnerships that empower commercial real estate professionals worldwide. Jamaica’s growing tourism economy, expanding infrastructure investment, and increasing foreign direct investment in commercial development provide a strong foundation for this partnership to advance professional real estate education across the Caribbean.
“At The CCIM Institute, we are committed to building partnerships that not only broaden our global footprint but also meet the evolving needs of regional markets,” said Paul Rumler, CCIM, Chief Executive Officer of The CCIM Institute. “Jamaica is experiencing meaningful momentum in commercial real estate, driven by tourism, logistics, and infrastructure investment. Working with The Real Estate Training Institute and the Government of Jamaica allows us to deliver the education and resources that professionals in this market need to compete and lead. We look forward to supporting the continued development of talent in this important part of the world.”
As the exclusive strategic partner and regional delivery hub for CCIM in Jamaica, The Real Estate Training Institute will anchor program delivery, industry engagement, and professional development, reinforcing Jamaica’s role as a leading center for commercial real estate excellence in the Caribbean.
