Our 2025 Fall Forum was a monumental success, with five unforgettable days filled with energy, connection, and inspiration. MAJOR FORUM HIGHLIGHTS 
Here are the major takeaways from Vancouver: 

• Dealmakers Awards Dinner 
  An unforgettable evening celebrating excellence in commercial real estate. CCIMs were recognized across multiple categories for outstanding deals and contributions, with Craig Finfrock, CCIM, honored as the Charles “Mac” McClure Volunteer of the Year. 
   
• Breakfast with Michael Litt 
  Returning to the Fall Forum stage, Michael Litt delivered a data-driven look at global economic and demographic shifts — from declining birth rates to inflationary pressures — and shared strategies for positioning investments in an evolving economy. 
   
• Sold-Out Vancouver Tours 
  Attendees explored Vancouver’s history, innovation, and skyline from land and sea during the City Tour, Boat Tour, and Industrial Tour. Vancouver's stunning views and thriving industries made for unforgettable experiences. 
   
• Expert Panels 
  Insightful discussions tackled the most pressing issues in CRE — from the Big Beautiful Bill’s policy impacts and recent trends in retail to the rising importance of cybersecurity in protecting deals and data. 
   
• New Leadership and Board of Directors 
  Members elected Brad Waken, CCIM, as 2026 First Vice President, alongside new and returning leaders to the Boards of The CCIM Institute Foundation and CCIM Technologies, each bringing vision and momentum for the year ahead. Check out our full Board of Directors!  
   
• Region 13 Updates 
  The expansion of Region 13 formalized representation for chapters in Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan, strengthening global leadership pathways and engagement within The CCIM Institute. 
   
• CCIM Tech Updates 
  Exciting new tools and research debuted — including a Retail Market Infographic and the latest CRE Performance Index integration, offering 12-month forecasts on vacancies, rents, and cap rates to help members stay ahead of market trends.  
   
• Spring Forum 2026 
  We revealed the location of our next Forum... Philidelphia! We are looking forward to even more networking, learning, and memorable times with our CCIMs this upcoming spring.

• Day 1: Fall Forum 2025 opened in Vancouver with energy and connection. Attendees explored city developments, learned hands-on STDB tools, and heard innovative JWL presentations. The day ended with a rooftop welcome reception, setting the stage for a week of education, collaboration, and leadership growth. 
   
• Day 2: Our second day started with big updates with economic outlooks, governance, and education. Highlights included panels on CRE policy and retail, Deal Pitch Lunch, Town Hall, The CCIM Institute Foundation donor reception, and the Dealmakers Awards—celebrating excellence, innovation, and connection.  
   
• Day 3: Michael Litt delivered a global outlook on demographics and economics, followed by panels on tech, GeoAI, and cybersecurity. Attendees gained global perspectives at the AREAA Fireside Chat and Global Lunch, explored Vancouver by land and sea, and capped the night with our 2026 Global President's Inauguration- celebrating leadership. 
   
• Day 4 & 5: Our Forum ended strong with electing and celebrating new leadership, as well as welcoming our latest Designees with a Pinning Ceremony. Our week closed with pride, connection, and momentum heading into the 2026 Spring Forum in Philadelphia.

• Improved Learner and Member Experience: Offering a buy now, pay later option reflects best practices in professional education, increasing enrollment rates, accessibility, and convenience. This maintained approach supports CCIM’s focus on modernized member experiences, aligning with how today’s learners expect to invest in their professional growth.

Increased Membership Dues in 2026 

• US designee dues increase 3%. (General Designee $799; Government $750; 25-Year $720; Life-Paying $390; Retired $130). No change to Candidates, International, Canadian, and Puerto Rico dues.
• Currently Commercial has been added as a free member benefit
