Intro Text
Wednesday & Thursday , October 8-9, 2025
October 09, 2025

The final day of the 2025 Fall Forum celebrated leadership, achievement, and the bright future of The CCIM Institute. From electing new leaders to honoring our newest Designees, the day reflected the strength, unity, and momentum of our global CCIM community.

Board of Directors Meeting and Election: Shaping the Future of The CCIM Institute
The Fall Forum concluded its business sessions with the Board of Directors Meeting and Annual Election, where members cast their votes to help shape the future of The CCIM Institute, the CCIM Foundation, and CCIM Technologies. The meeting served as both a reflection on the Institute’s accomplishments over the past year and an exciting look ahead at the initiatives that will guide the organization in 2026 and beyond.

During the election, Brad Waken, CCIM, was elected as 2026 First Vice President, joining the Management Team- including 2026 Global President Adam Palmer, CCIM, SIOR- to continue advancing the Institute’s mission of empowering commercial real estate professionals through education, technology, and collaboration. New and returning members were also elected to the Boards of Directors for The Institute, Foundation, and Technologies, each bringing fresh perspectives, leadership experience, and a shared commitment to growth and innovation.

The CCIM Institute congratulates all newly elected leaders and extends its appreciation to every candidate for their dedication to the organization’s success. With these outstanding professionals at the helm, the future of the Institute — and the global CCIM community — looks brighter than ever.

Honoring Excellence: New Designee Pinning Ceremonies
The CCIM Institute proudly welcomed the newest class of CCIM Designees during two inspiring Pinning Ceremonies at the 2025 Fall Forum. These ceremonies marked the culmination of years of hard work, perseverance, and dedication — recognizing commercial real estate professionals who have completed the CCIM Designation program, passed the comprehensive exam, and demonstrated their ability to exemplify the highest standards of the industry.

The atmosphere was filled with pride and celebration as each new Designee walked the stage to receive their official CCIM Pin, symbolizing not only a professional achievement but also a lifelong commitment to integrity, knowledge, and leadership in commercial real estate. Following the presentation, attendees took the CCIM Oath, pledging to uphold the principles and ethical standards that define the Designee community.

During the ceremony, Steve Rich, CCIM, 2025 Global President, encouraged the newly pinned CCIMs to stay engaged — to continue learning, networking, and sharing their stories to inspire future generations of Designees. As he reminded the audience, “The legacy of the CCIM Pin grows stronger each time it is passed forward — one story, one conversation, one new Designee at a time.”

It was a moment of pride for both new Designees and the entire CCIM community — a celebration of achievement, shared purpose, and the bright future these CCIMs will help shape across the commercial real estate industry.

A Memorable Finish, a Promising Future
As the 2025 Fall Forum comes to a close, The CCIM Institute extends its deepest thanks to everyone who made this year’s event such an incredible success. From thought-provoking sessions and memorable celebrations to new connections and shared achievements, this Forum truly embodied the power and spirit of the CCIM community. We’re already looking ahead to our next gathering — the 2026 Spring Forum in Philadelphia, April 19–23 — where CCIMs will once again come together to learn, network, and welcome the next class of Designees.

Congrats to our new Designees and the continuous support of our CCIMs for making this week memorable. Our members our a testament to the commitment and enthusiasm that continue to drive The CCIM Institute forward. Thank you for making this Fall Forum one to remember — and for helping us build a future defined by leadership, opportunity, and impact.
