Intellisite Reimagines What's Possible
For more than 25 years, the platform formerly known as Site To Do Business has helped commercial real estate professionals transform data into insight. What began as a groundbreaking innovation for CCIM members evolved into one of the most recognized technology platforms in commercial real estate, empowering brokers, investors, developers, and site selectors with powerful mapping, market analysis, and location intelligence tools.
Now, that platform is entering a new era.
Unveiled during The CCIM Institute Spring Forum in Philadelphia, Intellisite represents the next evolution of commercial real estate intelligence from CCIM Technologies. More than a rebrand, Intellisite reflects a complete transformation of the platform designed to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving industry increasingly shaped by data, artificial intelligence, and real-time decision-making.
Today’s commercial real estate professionals are expected to move faster than ever before. Clients demand immediate insights, deeper analysis, stronger visual storytelling, and market intelligence that can support strategic decisions in real time. At the same time, professionals are navigating increasingly complex datasets and market conditions that require more sophisticated analytical tools.
To meet that moment, CCIM Technologies set out to build something far more connected, intuitive, and intelligent.
“It represents a fundamental shift in how we think about data, how we access it, and how we’re going to teach it,” said Carol Campbell, CCIM, Vice President of CCIM Technologies, during the launch presentation.
The launch of Intellisite also marks a significant milestone in the long history of Site To Do Business, a platform that helped reshape how many commercial real estate professionals approach market analysis and client strategy.
“When Site To Do Business was first introduced, it wasn’t just innovative; it was disruptive,” Campbell said. “It gave you the ability to not guess, to not rely on instincts when you're making deals or presentations, but to actually analyze, validate, and improve decisions with data.”
For decades, the platform became one of the most valued member benefits within The CCIM Institute and helped establish a more data-driven approach to commercial real estate analysis. Former CCIM Technologies Board President Richard Juge, CCIM, reflected on the bold investment that launched the platform more than two decades ago, noting that the organization invested heavily in technology at a time when few associations were willing to do so.
“What matters today is that it worked,” Juge said during the launch event. “Survey after survey, when we ask members what the number one member benefit is, they say Site To Do Business.”
While the foundation remains rooted in trusted market intelligence and analytical depth, Intellisite introduces a modernized experience designed for a new generation of professionals.
The redesigned platform includes a streamlined dashboard, enhanced mapping and visualization capabilities, upgraded reporting tools, expanded demographic analytics, and new financial analysis tools designed to improve workflows from research to presentation. Users can customize dashboards, favorite frequently used tools, and navigate a more intuitive interface built around efficiency and accessibility.
Among the enhancements announced during the launch were unlimited Pictometry views, expanded learning resources, improved performance, and new AI-powered capabilities (Intellisite LM) designed to help users uncover insights faster and communicate them more effectively.
The evolution of Intellisite reflects broader shifts taking place across commercial real estate as artificial intelligence, predictive analytics, and integrated intelligence platforms begin reshaping the industry.
“With AI and big data, we needed to accelerate,” Campbell said.
That acceleration is particularly evident in Intellisite LM, one of the platform’s newest AI-driven initiatives. Designed to aggregate information across multiple data providers, the tool allows users to interact with market intelligence through AI-assisted workflows, integrated reporting, and predictive analysis.
During the live demonstration, Bryant Cheely, Learning and Product Improvement Specialist at CCIM Technologies, described the platform as the beginning of a more connected future for commercial real estate intelligence.
“It’s truly fascinating to see what’s possible when we start working with all of this data together,” Cheely said.
One of the platform’s primary goals is to eliminate the fragmented workflows that have historically defined commercial real estate analysis. Rather than requiring professionals to jump between disconnected systems and datasets, Intellisite aims to unify research, analytics, mapping, and reporting within a single ecosystem.
“No more jumping between tools, no more disconnected workflows,” said Glenn Preuss, CCIM, CCIM Technologies Board Vice President. “One platform, one experience, one source of information.”
Although Intellisite remains deeply rooted in commercial real estate, its expanded vision reaches beyond traditional brokerage applications. The platform is increasingly positioned to support industries including economic development, retail expansion, urban planning, healthcare, franchise growth, and higher education, all of which rely heavily on location intelligence and market analytics.
The new platform architecture also allows organizations to deploy customized, white-label versions of Intellisite tailored to their own operational needs.
“We’re also expanding beyond CCIM,” Preuss said. “Organizations that want their own technology stack, like economic development groups and universities, can now have a product that’s tailored to them.”
CCIM Technologies continues to position itself at the intersection of commercial real estate expertise and technology innovation. Longstanding partnerships with organizations such as ESRI and Moody’s continue to strengthen the platform’s analytical capabilities, while expanded training programs, webinars, and advanced user initiatives are designed to help professionals maximize the value of the platform.
The unveiling of Intellisite marked more than the launch of a new name or interface. It represented a defining moment in the continued evolution of commercial real estate intelligence and CCIM Technologies’ vision for the future of the industry.
“This is the day that CCIM Technologies claims its leadership role and takes ownership of commercial real estate intelligence,” Preuss said during the closing remarks.
The platform may look different, but the mission remains unchanged: helping professionals turn data into insight and insight into action.
As commercial real estate continues to evolve, Intellisite is positioning itself to lead the industry forward with smarter tools, connected intelligence, and a renewed commitment to empowering CRE professionals everywhere.
