Timothy C. Macker, Jr., CCIM, of Coldwell Banker Commercial Westmac in Los Angeles and a partner negotiated the approximately $12 million sale of a 10,455-sf retail property in Beverly Hills, Calif., from a private investor to Alex Nehorai.

Dean Roth, CCIM, of Sky Beach Commercial in Pompano Beach, Fla., and a partner represented undisclosed buyers in the $11 million purchase of the 20,000-sf Uptown Centre shopping center in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., from undisclosed sellers.

Parker Briley, CCIM, of Briley Advisory LLC in Dallas represented the undisclosed buyer in the more than $10.7 million purchase of a 69,000-sf shadow-anchored retail center in Southlake, Texas, from an undisclosed seller. Neal Churney, CCIM, of Johnson Capital in Scottsdale, Ariz., and a partner arranged the more than $21.7 million refinancing of two multifamily properties totaling 440 units in Phoenix for a Mexico-based investor.

Paul B. Natalizio, CCIM, of Cornerstone Realty Capital in Lexington, Mass., arranged the $16 million refinancing of five multifamily properties containing 95 units in Cambridge, Mass., for an undisclosed borrower. Natalizio also arranged the more than $12.3 million financing of the 92-unit University Apartments in Woburn, Mass., for Lakeside University Apartments LLC.

John J. McLaughlin, III, CCIM, of McLaughlin Investments in Boston negotiated the more than $2.1 million sale of the 20,100-sf Romano Plaza in Burlington, Mass., from an undisclosed seller to Thomas Cote.

“It’s always good to work with a fellow CCIM,” says Thomas Skeans, CCIM, who, alongside Christopher Baj, CCIM, both of Sperry Van Ness/Imperial Realty in Allentown, Pa., negotiated the more than $4.1 million sale of the 33-unit Forks Township Townhomes in Easton, Pa., from Forks Township to a partnership of local investors. “CCIM provides and encourages use of financial analytical models,” says Baj. “We used precisely that to adjust all expectations to arrive at mutually agreeable price and terms.” The pair closed on the deal that went from listing to under contract in less than 60 days and set a local record for residential investment property at $126,000 per unit. “We were able to segregate and analyze various complex aspects of this transaction from a similar analytical perspective,” adds Baj.
