Annual Governance Meetings Welcome Reception

Kick off your meetings or exam experience with a reception where you can meet CCIM Institute leadership, exam-takers, and first-time attendees. NOTE: Attendees must print their badge and ticket at the CCIM Institute registration desk prior to attending this reception. Preregistration is required.

CCIM Chapter Networking Event
Wednesday, Oct. 12 | 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Come and join us for some "Whiskey Business" fun at one of Chicago's iconic speakeasy venues, The Chicago Athletic Association.   The reception is hosted in the Game Room overlooking Millennium Park. Originally the billiards room of the private Chicago Athletic Association, the Game Room features a range of games including pool tables, shuffleboard tables, foosball and a bocce court.  This is an amazing opportunity to mix and mingle with CRE professionals from across the country!  From great whiskey to a full arrangement of enticing libations, you won't be disappointed. To enter the party, remember the password is "ILLINOIS"...and no snitches allowed! State of the Institute and Networking Breakfast

Join us for breakfast to hear the State of the Institute and also an economic update from Chief Economist K.C. Conway, CCIM, MAI, CRE. Preregistration is required.  

Global Connections Luncheon
Friday, Oct. 14 | 12:30 p.m. - 1:45 p.m.
Join fellow CCIMs and hear from Gunnar Branson, CEO of the Association for International Real Estate Investors. As the leader of AFIRE, an organization focused on international investing in commercial property in the U.S., Branson will share his insights on the trends and opportunities in cross-border investing. A portion of the luncheon will be set aside for networking with international guests. Preregistration is required.

Deals & Drinks - Blues Brothers Theme
Friday, Oct. 14 | 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Make your next business connection at Deals and Drinks, where CCIM Institute members can present property haves and wants. This year's event is Blues Brothers-themed, so break out your hats, sunglasses, and black ties. To submit your deal, download the required  PowerPoint template. Replace all example property information with your own, including headshot and property photo (Note: All information must fit on one PowerPoint slide). Email your PowerPoint slide to Becca Daly at by September 30. Preregistration is required.  

Inaugural Ball: The Roaring '20s
Saturday, Oct. 15 | 7:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
Celebrate the inauguration of 2023 CCIM Institute President David Schnitzer, CCIM, LEED AP, and the 2023 management team. Dress code is black-tie optional. Preregistration is required.
