Day Two Panel Recap: Leveraging Tech - Strategies for Today’s CRE Professional
In this fast-paced conversation moderated by Nate Worthen, CCIM, SIOR with Heather Ewing, CCIM, Michael Hironimus, CCIM, John Monteleone, and Dr. Drey Campbell, CCIM our panel of experts shared how they’re putting technology and AI to work across their businesses, from uncovering opportunities and capturing client insights to strengthening market visibility and simply getting more done.
From New Tools to Better Business
The conversation moved beyond the hype to focus on practical applications.
Panelists shared how tools such as Claude, WhisperFlow, and Pocket AI are helping streamline everyday work, while platforms and proprietary databases that are being used to identify off-market opportunities, capture valuable information and improve client service.
One of the biggest takeaways wasn’t any specific recommended platform. It was a piece of practical advice. Pick a tool. Learn it. Use it consistently.
The panel emphasized that simply experimenting with AI isn’t enough. The real value comes from integrating technology into existing workflows, capturing information that might otherwise be lost, and finding repeatable ways to turn that information into better business decisions.
The Human Advantage
As AI becomes more embedded in CRE, authenticity still matters.
Technology can help brainstorm ideas, analyze data, create content, organize client conversations, and improve efficiency, but relationships and human judgment remain at the center of the business. The importance of understanding data security before connecting new technology to sensitive business information was stressed by the panelists.
For CRE professionals wondering where to begin, the message was refreshingly simple: start small, stay open-minded, and focus on the tools that solve a real problem in your business. The best technology isn't necessarily the newest tool. It's the one you actually put to work for you.
