The Ward Center for Real Estate Studies
The Robert L. Ward Center for Real Estate Studies, named after past CCIM Institute President Robert L. Ward, CCIM, was created to provide continuing education and thought leadership to CCIM Institute members and non-members on timely topics in the commercial real estate industry. As a participant, you'll tackle today's most relevant subjects, including current financial analysis strategies, communication skills, high-tech marketing strategies, and crowdfunding.
Why Ward Center Courses?
Our economy is in its sixth year of recovery, but things remain uncertain. Institutional investors are seeking a safe haven for their capital; private equity firms and investment managers are looking for opportunities across the risk spectrum to mirror their investments in equities and fixed-income securities. To thrive in today's world, you need real-time information from the industry's most renowned thinkers and practitioners.
This program provides commercial real estate developers, investors, and consultants with an understanding of the resources and business practices required for successful development projects. The program content is structured around the Real Estate Development Matrix designed by Daniel Kohlhepp, Ph.D., Academic Program Director for Real Estate and Infrastructure at Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.
This nine-month Academy program is designed to build the skills and self-knowledge participants need to fulfill leadership roles with the Institute, as well as in their communities and professional careers.
