Building the CCIM Brand

The institute also is leveraging the power of online media to create more brand recognition within the industry. The CCIM Institute was cited in the media 788 times from Dec. 1, 2009, through June 30, 2010. As a result of our national media campaigns, search engines have indexed CCIM Institute 2,127 times for inclusion in their databases and search results. While the institute has just begun to track this data, it’s estimated that CCIM media coverage has increased more than 200 percent over the same period the previous year. Coming Fall 2010: A New, Interactive

CCIM members have asked for it and the institute will deliver: A new, highly interactive will be unveiled in October. With a new look and more-effective functionality, the site is poised to position the institute as the premier go-to resource within the commercial real estate industry.

As designees need more breaking news and critical information to effectively manage their businesses, will provide them with a suite of enhanced online tools to streamline daily operations. The widely used professional directory is a cornerstone of online networking for CCIMs, along with MailBridge, the members-only opt-in e-mail-based platform CCIM designees use to connect with colleagues to buy and sell property. The site will provide easier access and tutorials for STDBonline and CCIMREDEX, the institute’s cutting-edge technology tools for members.

With enhanced search engine optimization features and social media integration, the new also will attract commercial real estate professionals and prospective clients who want to do business with designees. This improved exposure will provide more opportunities for CCIMs to interact online and optimize their visibility in the local, regional, and national marketplace.
