Expand the Brand

The CCIM Institute has worked tirelessly to expand designation promotion efforts worldwide and illustrate the value CCIMs bring to every business situation. Our current designation promotion advertisement appears on page 11. The campaign capitalizes on the market and financial analysis skills that all designees gain through the CCIM education.

This fall CCIM launched a major media outreach effort to ensure this campaign reaches the top-level professionals in the industry. CCIM’s designation promotion ads have appeared in the Wall St. Journal and The New York Times (digital edition) as well as on Bloomberg.com and Businessweek.com. Ads have also run in major industry trade publications and on their websites, including National Real Estate Investor, Real Estate Forum, GlobeSt.com, Bizjournals.com, and Commercial Property Executive, among others.

CCIM has also expanded its presence at major industry events, including the RealShare conference series. I served as moderator of the “Developers Shaping New York” panel at RealShare New York on Oct. 8. As a result of this opportunity, the Institute was exposed to many of the largest and most active developers in the Northeast.

I also look forward to moderating the REIT Power Panel at the RealShare Net Lease West event in Los Angeles this fall, and Garry Weiss, CCIM, SIOR, managing principal of Vista Industrial Aggregators LLC in Chicago, will share his expertise as a panelist at the RealShare Industrial conference in Miami. These key opportunities continue to elevate the CCIM brand in the industry.

How can you do your part in this effort? Update your professional profile on CCIM.com so industry execs who are looking for a CCIM in your area can find you.

Sincerely,

Wayne D’Amico, CCIM

2013 CCIM Institute President
