Intro Text
Honoring Legacy, Leadership, and Opportunity
October 13, 2026

Fall Forum brought the CCIM community together for two meaningful gatherings hosted by The CCIM Institute Foundation, recognizing the leaders who have shaped our organization and the generosity of creating new opportunities for future CRE professionals. From honoring a legacy to expanding access to education, both events highlighted the power of giving back and investing in the next generation.

Celebrating Opportunity

During The CCIM Institute Foundation Donor Reception on Monday, October 5, celebrated the donors whose generosity is expanding access to CCIM education and creating lasting opportunities across commercial real estate. A special moment of the evening was the presentation of Legacy Leadership Awards to Major Donors who collectively pledged $1million to the Capital Campaign. Thank you, Tim Blair, CCIM; Les Callahan, CCIM, Jeffrey Lyon, CCIM and Susan McClure, CCIM for your leadership and commitment to the Foundation!

We also celebrated the creation of three new scholarship opportunities, including the Susan & Mac McClure Fund Gold Star Family Scholarship and The Juge Family Coast Guard Scholarship, creating new educational pathways for military families and veterans; and the Tim & Barbara Blair Matching Funds, helping grow Named Education Scholarships.

Thank you to all CCIM Institute Foundation donors for opening doors, creating opportunities, and investing in the future of commercial real estate.

Breakfast with The Greats

The JWL Alumni Breakfast on Tuesday, October 6, brought alumni together to celebrate leadership and honor the remarkable legacy of Susan J. Groeneveld, CCIM, founder of the JWL Academy. CCIMs shared personal memories and stories reflecting on Susan’s decades of leadership and lasting impact on the Institute and Foundation. The morning also featured a special presentation from Susan’s godson, futurist Greg Lindsay, who shared insights on the future of cities, technology, and work.
