A Message from Adam Palmer, CCIM, 2026 Global President

Dear CCIM Members, 

The holiday season and a new year provides each of us with an opportunity to pause, reflect, and express gratitude.  I want to start by thanking you for the role you play in making The CCIM Institute exceptional. Your commitment to excellence, collaboration, and industry leadership fuels our momentum and inspires us to continually raise the bar on all that it means to be a CCIM.  As our industry changes and expectations rise, we must continue to innovate what we deliver to our members and their customers. That commitment is at the heart of everything we’re doing in 2026.  I look forward to sharing how these efforts take shape throughout the year. 

This Spring, that commitment will be on full display at our Spring Forum in Philadelphia, an event designed to be more immersive, more relevant, and more valuable to attend than ever before.  The CCIM Forums have evolved beyond our traditional industry gatherings.  There, you’ll experience a program strategically designed to cultivate leadership, education, technology, dealmaking and real-world application. From valuable market insights to dynamic conversations about the present and future of commercial real estate, these Forums are built to deliver quantifiable value…whether you’re shaping policy, sharpening your skills, or expanding your network.  Make sure to save the date: April 19–23.

I’d be remiss not to extend my sincere gratitude to Steve Rich, CCIM, whose leadership helped set this evolution in motion. Steve’s steady hand, vision, and deep care for this organization have left a lasting impact, and the 2026 Management Team is very excited to build on this strong foundation created by so many.  Equally important is the incredible CCIM staff, whose dedication, creativity, and tireless work behind the scenes make all CCIM experiences possible. Their commitment to our members shows in every detail, and we are fortunate to have such a talented team serving this Institute. 

I am so humbled to serve as your Global President and truly honored to represent the most respected and forward-thinking community of commercial real estate professionals in the world.  I encourage you to join us and to engage fully, to experience firsthand how CCIM continues to raise the bar.  This goes beyond meetings; it’s about delivering meaningful value and maximizing return on your CCIM investment.  I look forward to connecting with you.
