Annual Governance Meetings 2017
The 2017 Annual Governance Meetings took place at the Westin Harbor Castle in Toronto. The governance meetings, held twice a year, are held to address topics that affect the industry, our members, and the organization. In addition to committee meetings, the governance meetings also provide networking and training for its attendees.

Women of CCIM Networking Reception

Celebrate and unwind at this women's only networking event.
Whiskey 101: Whiskey or Whisky?
Oct. 14 | 8 p.m.-10 p.m.
Join your fellow CCIMs for a great time tasting whiskeys from around the globe at Char No.5 Whiskey Bar. Your ticket includes a private two-hour event guided by a whiskey expert covering manufacturing and production, history, and stories about each brand being tasted. In addition to tasting whiskeys, light appetizers will be provided. This event is a fundraiser with proceeds supporting the CCIM Foundation.

Toronto's World Fair - Inaugural
Oct. 16 | 7:30 p.m.-10:30 p.m.
The Inaugural observes the swearing in of incoming CCIM Institute president, David P. Wilson, CCIM, and the 2018 management team. The evening will feature international food, drink, and festivities. Music will be provided by The Liverpool 4, Canada's top Beatle's tribute band.
Deals and Drinks
Oct. 17 | 2:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m.
This networking events gives you the opportunity to briefly present a property to other CCIM members and potentially connect to make a deal. Drinks are available, and presentations can be informal. Presenter registration details coming soon.
CCIM Global Conference
Don't forget to also register for the CCIM Global Conference, which brings CCIM designees and other top real estate professionals together to trade ideas that help shape the future of the industry. Past events have featured Sam Zell and Emmitt Smith, as well as senior executives from Cushman & Wakefield, Colliers International, Esri, VTS, Fifth Third Bank, and Ten-X.
At our midyear and annual meetings, CCIM Instutute staff and members give back to the city they are visitng. This year, the Institute is partnering with The Peer Project in Toronto. The Peer Project matches at-risk and newcomer children ages 6 -15 with fully trained and dedicated volunteer youth mentors ages 16-29, who act as positive role models.
