CCIM designation key to standing out in Central Florida.
CCIM Institute designees dominated the 2016 commercial real estate awards presented by the Central Florida Commercial Association of REALTORS (CFCAR) with six award winners holding the CCIM designation.
Among the honorees was 2017 CCIM Institute President Robin L. Webb, CCIM, who was awarded the CFCAR Wilbur Strickland Award which recognizes the continuing lifetime contributions of influential REALTOR members in commercial real estate.
“It is generally acknowledged across the nation that commercial leadership in most REALTOR organizations is typically made up of CCIM members,” says Webb. “As president of CCIM Institute, it makes us incredibly proud to have six CCIM designees listed among the top eight brokers recognized in all of Central Florida.”
The 2016 CFCAR Hallmark Heavy Hitters Award winners, recognizing the top producing commercial real estate professionals of Central Florida, include: overall top producer Dean Saunders, CCIM, owner and broker of Coldwell Banker Commercial Saunders Real Estate in Lakeland, Fla.; Danny Smith, CCIM, co-owner of Smith & Smith Realty in Wildwood, Fla.; Drew Forness, CCIM, president of Forness Properties in Winter Park, Fla.; Robbie McEwan, CCIM, associate director of Marcus & Millichap in Orlando, Fla.; and Vincent F. Wolle, CCIM, president of Results Real Estate Partners LLC in Lake Mary, Fla.
Award winner Smith feels especially humbled with the honor. With a background in farming, he credits his CCIM education for not only leveling the playing field but giving him an advantage over other brokers. “CCIMs are the ones who put in the training to be better educated,” says Smith. “We always strive to do more than the rest of the pack to get the deal done.”
And as the 2018 Florida CCIM Chapter Central District President-Elect, award winner McEwan sees continued success for CCIM designees. “I am dedicating my time and energy to CCIM Institute to continue our strong record of accomplishment within our district and state,” says McEwan. “Simply put, CCIMs are the experts in the field.”
