Patricia A. Lynn, CCIM

Professional Background

Patricia Lynn has over 30 years of experience in various aspects of commercial real estate. During that time she has been responsible for the underwriting and marketing of over $1 billion worth of institutional grade properties.

Immediately prior to the formation of her firm LYNNK, Lynn was the Western Regional Director of Corporate Real Estate Consulting Services for Price Waterhouse LLP.

She was Vice President and Regional Marketing Director for Grubb & Ellis Asset Services, the division of the company that provided alternative disposition services for institutional assets. As a member of Cushman & Wakefield's Financial Services Group, she led the disposition teams for several of San Francisco's prominent office buildings.

Lynn has completed sale and lease transactions for major financial institutions, the organization of a successful office leasing and sales team, and several urban rehab development projects. During the mid 80s, she served as National Training Director for Rubloff, a privately owned national real estate and corporate services company.

A partial list of corporate clients includes: Ford Motor Land, Washington Mutual Bank, Pacific Gas and Electric Company, Ontario Realty Corporation, Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate, and The World Bank.

Instructional Background

Lynn is a senior instructor for the CCIM Institute and has been selected by her peers as the recipient of the CI 103 Instructor of the Year, the overall Instructor of the Year award, and the prestigious Victor L. Lyon award for exemplary service to CCIM education.

She is a featured speaker for national real estate firms and industry organizations, as well as a visiting lecturer in Shanghai, Beijing, and Tokyo.

Lynn is the co-author of a two-day educational course entitled "Fundamentals of Commercial Real Estate Brokerage." She has also developed educational programs for private companies.


Lynn has a BS in Finance from California State Polytechnic University, is certified by the Alignor Group to teach interest-based negotiations, and holds the CDEI certification in Distance Education.
