Clearly, I would attend these events at least every six months in my own region. What a great way to meet fellow CCIMs on a more personal basis. Not only did I meet fellow CCIMs that I can help with my various financing programs, but I also heard of possible transactions for my existing clients to buy. Great Idea! Wayne Shulman, CCIM: Well done. Great value and nicely run. The deal-making session was great and I hope to make some deals from it. Michael Hoadley, CCIM: Having spent 10 years working for two major national companies, I have had the experience of coming together with real estate professionals from different parts of the country. The CCIM Networking experience was just, if not more powerful because the motives of the attendees were far more clear. There are no internal company politics, no corporate mandates, and no ‘selling us the culture.’ CCIMs by definition have sought greater knowledge of their craft, and are motivated largely out of self interest, and by extension, the interest of their clients. I take great comfort in that fact. Steve Stephens, CCIM: I enjoyed the first CCIM Partners meetings in Schaumburg. It was evident that the committee and staff had put a lot of thought and effort into making the meetings a success and I believe that they succeeded. The panel discussion was outstanding. The roundtables for each specialty were informative and represented a great opportunity to more closely identify and get to know fellow CCIMs operating in similar fields.
