How CCIM Partners Was Developed
The idea behind CCIM Partners originated in early 2003 by the Institute’s Strategic Planning Committee, which identified the need for a better way for members to network, promote their expertise and conduct more business. Research revealed strong support, and focus groups of designees from different markets and specialties yielded results favoring the concept. The research also revealed that CCIM Institute and its programs were perceived highly for the education product, but lacked in providing business opportunities. Members polled wanted upgraded online profiles and more regional networking and marketing opportunities. In addition, the survey revealed that 78 percent of CCIMs do not belong to a formal corporate business network. Download survey 336 kb

What CCIM Partners Offers to CCIMs

  • Online Partner profiles allow CCIMs to find each other with ease. Non-CCIMs also have the ability to locate CCIM professionals, scan their resumes, review a list of completed transactions, read client references and more.
  • The online profiles include fields for Market Areas and Specialties. Designees can select two of the following Property Type categories: industrial, office, retail, multifamily, hospitality, and land. There’s also an “all” category geared to the generalist.
  • Online marketing templates offer specialty-specific brochures for customizing and downloading.
  • Deal Making Events scheduled throughout the year in different regions exclusively connect CCIM designees. The twenty four hour events facilitate relationship building and deal making between designees. See the link to Deal Making Events for the current schedule.

  • An Advisory Board comprised of designees from different markets and specialties and two full-time staff members run the program.
