Graphic & Logo Standards

Designees and Candidates
A CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) is a designated member of the CCIM Institute. Only CCIM designees who have completed online profile information and registered as CCIM Partners can display the CCIM Partners general logo or property-type specialty logos. Candidates are members of the Institute who are pursuing the CCIM designation. They may not display or use any variations of the CCIM Partners logo in any way, either in print or online formats.

Advertising and Signage
The CCIM Partners general logo or property-type specialty logos may be used only when the name of the individual CCIM designee affiliated with the organization is cited in the advertisement or signage. If the name of the CCIM designee is not the only name that appears, the CCIM Partners general logo or specialty logos cannot be used.

Technical Specifications
The CCIM Partners general and specialty logos may appear only in the corresponding red(2-color) or grayscale(1-color). It consists of the words “CCIM Partners” adjacent to four “puzzle pieces” set at an angle above the words. The Futura and Frutiger typefaces are used for the words “CCIM Partners” respectively, and specialty property types. The smallest size the logo may appear is 1/2" wide. The original may be photographically enlarged if a larger size is required; however, downloading logo ensures the best quality.

Property-Type Specialty Logos
The general CCIM Partners logo can be used by any CCIM Partner in good standing. The six property-type specialty logos – Hospitality, Industrial, Land, Multifamily, Office and Retail – cannot be altered in any way.

Marketing Templates
Marketing templates for each of the CCIM Partners property-type specialties can be reproduced in print or electronic formats by Partners in good standing for sales presentations, direct mail campaigns, trade shows or other marketing activities. Each template includes the appropriate Partners logo and introductory copy. As illustrated below, place the Partner company information aligned in the margin at left, rather than set in a horizontal format across the bottom of the page.

Loss of the Designation
CCIM designees lose the designation when they cease to maintain their member status. In addition, the Institute may suspend or terminate an individual for cause and/or criminal and other unlawful activity (Institute bylaws 111: 8).

Former designated members of the Institute must cease using the CCIM designation after their name, the CCIM logo, the CCIM Partners logo, emblem, or any other evidence of membership in the Institute on business cards, stationery, literature, or advertising. Misuse of the designation, logo, and candidacy status is strictly prohibited and subject to disciplinary action, including recourse by the Institute and the National Association of REALTORS®" to licensing agencies in order to protect the integrity of the CCIM designation.
