David P. Wilson, CCIM, To Serve as 2017 CCIM Institute President-Elect

CCIM Institute, one of the largest commercial real estate networks in the world with chapters in more than 30 global markets, announced its 2017 leadership team at the organization's annual conference in Atlanta, Oct. 24-28. CCIM Institute confers the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation, commercial real estate's global standard for professional achievement.
David P. Wilson, CCIM, executive vice president at Lockard Cos. in Cedar Falls, Iowa, will serve as 2017 President-Elect of CCIM Institute. “I am truly honored to be able to serve in this leadership role with this great organization,” Wilson says. “I'm excited to hit the ground running in 2017 and help propel CCIM Institute forward in the coming years ahead.”
Earning his CCIM designation in 2002, he has moved up from leadership positions at the CCIM Iowa Chapter to a wide range of national CCIM committees. Currently, Wilson serves on CCIM Institute's Board of Directors, Executive Committee, and CCIM Foundation Board of Directors. Additionally, he is a graduate of the prestigious Jay W. Levine Leadership Development Academy, which offers a nine-month intensive program through CCIM Institute.
The other 2017 executive leadership team members include President Robin L. Webb, CCIM, managing director/principal of NAI Realvest in Orlando, Fla.; First Vice President Barbara M. Crane, CCIM, a commercial real estate broker and consultant in San Antonio, Texas; and Treasurer Charles C. Connely IV, CCIM, managing director of the Lewis White Real Estate Center at the University of Missouri-Kansas and president of C.C. Connely & Associates in Kansas City, Mo.
