CCIM Institute Announces 2017 Leadership Team

CCIM Institute, one of the largest commercial real estate networks in the world with chapters in more than 30 global markets, announced its 2017 leadership team at the organization's annual conference in Atlanta, Oct. 24-28. CCIM Institute confers the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation, commercial real estate's global standard for professional achievement.
Robin Webb, CCIM, 2016 President-Elect, will serve as President of CCIM Institute, starting on Jan. 1, 2017. He has more than 30 years of experience in commercial real estate and is managing director and principal of NAI Realvest in Orlando, Fla. Webb has varied, extensive experience with CCIM Institute, serving as Treasurer, Florida Chapter President, Regional Vice President, and Presidential Liaison, as well as a CCIM instructor.
Webb's long-term engagement with CCIM Institute includes serving on several CCIM committees, which include Member Services, Designation, Finance, and Legislative Affairs Subcommittee. Webb has earned the Certified Property Manager designation, among several other industry designations.
David P. Wilson, CCIM, 2016 First Vice President, assumes the role of CCIM Institute President-Elect in 2017. Wilson is executive vice president at Lockard Cos. in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Wilson has a wide range of involvement with the organization, serving in leadership positions at the Iowa CCIM Chapter and then moving to the national level as a member of the CCIM Board of Directors, CCIM Executive Committee, and CCIM Foundation Board of Directors. He earned his CCIM designation in 2002 and is one of CCIM Institute's youngest President-Elects.
Newly elected 2017 First Vice President Barbara M. Crane, CCIM, is a commercial real estate broker and consultant in San Antonio, Texas. Crane is a senior instructor for CCIM Institute, teaching courses since 2005. Crane participated in the delivery of the CCIM Advanced Negotiation Workshop to the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C., and was named the Robert L. Ward Instructor of the Year in 2010. She earned her CCIM designation in 1999.
In addition, Charles C. Connely IV, CCIM, managing director of the Lewis White Real Estate Center at the University of Missouri-Kansas and president of C.C. Connely & Associates in Kansas City, Mo., was elected to serve as CCIM Institute's 2017 Treasurer. Connely has more than 25 years of investment banking and real estate experience and has served on the CCIM Institute Board of Directors for 10 years. He earned his CCIM designation in 2003.
