Barbara M. Crane, CCIM, To Serve as 2017 CCIM Institute First Vice President

CCIM Institute, one of the largest commercial real estate networks in the world with chapters in more than 30 global markets, announced its 2017 leadership team at the organization's annual conference in Atlanta, Oct. 24-28. CCIM Institute confers the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation, commercial real estate's global standard for professional achievement.
Barbara M. Crane, CCIM, a commercial real estate broker and consultant in San Antonio, Texas, will serve as 2017 First Vice President of CCIM Institute. “We live in a world experiencing change at an exponential rate,” Crane says. “My goal is to equip our members and the industry professionals of tomorrow to succeed in commercial real estate tomorrow.”
Crane is a senior instructor for CCIM Institute, teaching courses since 2005. She participated in the delivery of the CCIM Advanced Negotiation Workshop to the U.S. Department of State in Washington, D.C., and was named the Robert L. Ward Instructor of the Year in 2010. Crane earned her CCIM designation in 1999.
The other 2017 executive leadership team members include President Robin L. Webb, CCIM, managing director/principal of NAI Realvest in Orlando, Fla.; President-Elect David P. Wilson, CCIM, executive vice president at Lockard Cos. in Cedar Falls, Iowa; and Treasurer Charles C. Connely IV, CCIM, managing director of the Lewis White Real Estate Center at the University of Missouri-Kansas and president of C.C. Connely & Associates in Kansas City, Mo.
