The following requirements are specific to enrollment options.

  • Financial Calculator (HP 10bII strongly recommended)
  • A Windows laptop with CD-ROM and wireless internet card (recommended)
  • MS Excel 2000 or higher (Mac users, see note at bottom of page)

Online Instructor-Led Education

  • A media player for viewing recorded presentations, such as iTunes, Windows Media Player, or Quick Time
  • MS Excel 2000 or higher (Mac users, see note at bottom of page)

Online Self-Paced Education

Online self-paced education is delivered through eCampus. The following requirements are for all courses unless otherwise noted:

  • Internet connection (high-speed wired broadband connection strongly recommended)
  • Windows computer with speakers
  • MS Excel 2000 or higher

Information for Mac Users

Several CCIM courses, including CI 101 - 104, use macro-enabled Excel spreadsheets, which MS Office 2008 for Macs does not support. If you are running this version of Office on your Mac, you will not be able to use the CCIM's Excel financial analysis tools. Note that these spreadsheets will work on older versions of Office for Macs, such as the 2004 version.
