License Delivery Education Program

Purpose

To offer CCIM Institute courses in markets throughout the United States and Canada, not served by the CCIM Institute on a direct delivery basis. Courses will be licensed to viable sponsoring organizations once they have completed the application/approval process and have met certain guidelines and criteria. CCIM Institute reserves the right to deny a licensed course request where it deems that it is not in the best interest of the Institute.

We will ensure your success by guiding and assisting you through the entire process of course delivery, from the planning stage through the completion of the course. If you have any questions, please call Charmaine Griffin, Course Delivery Manager, at 312-321-4492, or e-mail cgriffin@cciminstitute.com.

Steps to Get Started

Step 1 - Determine your licensed sponsorship goals.
  • What is most important?
    • To raise money?
    • To increase membership?
    • To provide a valuable member service?
  • Do you have staff and/or volunteer commitment to accomplish all tasks?

Step 2 - Course Planning.
  • Think about a course schedule at least 6 to 18 months ahead.
  • Contact the Institute to find out what is happening in your surrounding areas, as well as how many Institute prospects are in your chapter and/or market.
  • Speak with your Regional Director and other chapters in your area to find out what they have planned.
  • Speak with your local Board/Associations of REALTORS® for support, or even as a potential co-sponsor or site facility.

Step 3 - Make a Decision.
  • Decide what course(s) you will offer and when.
    • If you have not offered courses in your area in the past or if there has been a significant time lapse since your last presented courses, you will need to start with the Intro courses to build your pool of potential students.

Step 4 - Contact Instructors and the Site Facility.
  • Determine instructor availability, fees, and negotiate terms.
  • Confirm site facility and logistics.

Step 5 - Create a Pro-Forma Budget.
  • Use examples offered by the Licensed Delivery Team to calculate break-even analysis and profit margins.

Step 6 - Design an Overall Marketing Plan.

Step 7 - Finalize Contracts with the Institute, Site, and Instructors.
