Thank you for your interest in becoming a CCIM Institute faculty member! Please take the time to review the following information closely before completing your application. Inability to meet these criteria or follow the application process could result in your application being denied.
Application Process
In order for your application to be considered, please observe the following:
Submit a complete application using the approved application form. Applications not made on the approved form will automatically be rejected. Please note that the burden is entirely on the applicant to provide a complete application. At its discretion, the Faculty Subcommittee may request that applicants submit a presentation video as part of their application package.
Submitted application is reviewed by the Faculty Subcommittee Staff Liaison to determine that it is complete and that the applicant holds the CCIM designation
Faculty Subcommittee Staff conduct telephone interviews with new applicants.
Faculty Subcommittee Staff contact applicants selected to move on to the audition portion of the process.
Applicants participate in a 15-minute audition during CCIM’s Spring Business Meeting (applicants are responsible for all expenses incurred).
Selected applicants move on to 3.5 days of training/auditioning at the New Instructor Training/Selection Seminar (CCIM Institute reimburses reasonable expenses incurred).
Applicants selected during the New Instructor Training/Selection Seminar move on to audit CI 101 (CCIM Institute reimburses reasonable expenses incurred).
Applicants teach CI 101 as a Workshop Leader at least three times with a senior instructor (CCIM Institute reimburses reasonable expenses incurred).
A review process is conducted to change Workshop Leader status to Junior Instructor. During this review, the Workshop Leader either moves on to Junior Instructor status or is dropped from the faculty. Once Junior Instructor status is reached, the Institute reimburses teaching fees based on an approved fee schedule.
Junior Instructors teach CI 102 or CI 103 (based on work experience).
