Sponsorships/Get Involved
The CCIM Institute needs your help in expanding this program into
new areas. Below is an outline of future programs that the Institute
would like to implement.
Mission: To increase minority populations in the Commercial Investment
Real Estate profession
Goal: Expose a culturally diverse populous of the opportunities in
Commercial Investment Real Estate with the CCIM program(s)
Outreach
Identify culturally diverse individuals in a position to
make a career decision to enter Commercial Real Estate. Types of

Universities
The Institute is currently identifying Colleges and
Universities around the country through Historically Black Colleges
and Universities (HBCUs) and Traditional Universities who have established
relationships with the CCIM Institute through the CCIM chapter-administered
University Scholarship Program.
You can help us by sponsoring:
- Speaking Engagement or Participation at Career Day Events
or Speaking Engagements through Real Estate Clubs offered through the
departments or schools ($2500)
- Mixer/Networking Events for students in a graduate or undergraduate
Real Estate Department ($3000)
- Scholarships for CI-Intro courses to offer to University
Graduates ($350 per individual/ 10 student minimum)
- Full Scholarships for graduates of a University to Earn the
CCIM Designation ($7215 per individual)*

Recipients will receive enrollment in the following CCIM designation
courses: CI102; CI103; CI104; CCR Review (optional for designation,
but required for scholarship). In addition, fees for the following
designation requirements shall be paid as part of the scholarship:
Portfolio of Qualifying Experience processing and Comprehensive Exam.
This is valued at $3,615.
Recipients will receive $200/day for hotel, meals, parking, etc. This
is a flat rate and can be used by the recipient to cover travel and
associated cost at his/her discretion. Three courses, five days each=$3,000,
Review course, two days=$400, Exam, one day=$200, Total travel/related
costs stipend=$3,600.
Trade Shows/Conferences
The Institute regularly exhibits at trade
shows and programming sponsored by the following minority organizations:
- ICSC
in partnership with the Real Estate Associate Program (REAP),
National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP),
National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB),
Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA).
You can help us by sponsoring:
- Speaking Engagement at the Conference ($2500)
- Mixer/Networking Events at the Trade Show ($5000 - $25,000)
- CCIM Education Seminar at the event (2-3 hours in length)

Local Networking Events
Engaging the CCIM Chapter system to create
their own Cultural Diversity Program further exposing more people
throughout the country to the Commercial Investment Real Estate industry.
You can help us by sponsoring:
- Speaking Engagement in a local market ($2500)
- Mixer/Networking Events in tandem with a Chapter event ($1000-$5000)
- CCIM Education Seminar at the event (2-3 hours in length)

- Offer an endowed Chapter Scholarship for a CI-101 Course
specifically for minority students ($1500/per individual including
expenses)
Corporate Education
Provide Cultural Diversity focused/themed CIRE education
opportunities for minorities new to the commercial investment industry
You can help us by sponsoring:
- A CI-Intro Course locally or at your company ($5000 for 40
students in a 2-day course)
- Provide full tuition scholarship for individuals attending
a CI-Intro Course ($350 per individual/10 student minimum)
Provide Financial Assistance to further CIRE education for the 101-104
courses (to qualified participants):
- Provide full tuition scholarship for individuals attending
a Core Course ($1000 per individual/10 student minimum)
- Offering full scholarships for earning the CCIM Designation
($7215 per individual)
- Hold a corporate offering of a core course locally or at
your company
Provide Mentoring specifically tailored to CDEP participants and their
unique challenges by providing a pre-and post-course online community
which would facilitate and foster communication amongst peers and between
fledgling professionals and well seasoned CCIM's.
