Online Ethics Course Description
The Ethics Training Course offers an overview of the CCIM Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice of the CCIM Institute.
It covers key articles of the code and reveals the process followed in enforcing the Code. The course also features
real-world scenarios that present the types of ethical dilemmas that you might encounter in your commercial real estate
practice. Are the actions you or another CCIM take in response to these dilemmas a violation of the CCIM Code of Ethics?
This course helps you answer that question.
Online Ethics Course Policies
The ethics course is an online course offered as a free benefit to our members. (You must be either a declared candidate
or designee to gain access to the course site.) Completion of the course is required of all CCIM candidates applying for
the CCIM Designation. Candidates must review the content of the course, then complete and pass the lesson quizzes and the
course exam, all of which are online. To be eligible to sit for the Comprehensive Exam, you must complete this course no
later than 30 days before the Comprehensive Exam.
Working through this course and the exam should take between 3 and 5 hours. This course is a self-paced course that you
may start anytime after your registration has been processed. However, you will have 90 days from the day you register
to complete this course.
