Programs for the Academic Community

CCIM Institute has an array of services for the university and academic community. These programs promote quality in curriculum development and encourage professional interaction with the Institute. Our goal is to introduce both educators and students to the many services and educational opportunities of the Institute.

For Educators

CCIM Course Material may be purchased for use by accredited university graduate and undergraduate real estate programs for use in their curriculum. CCIM material is a valuable source of supplemental instruction for students. Materials are updated on a regular basis and offer real-world examples and case studies based on actual transactions that have been facilitated by CCIM practitioners. Each course manual comes with a supplemental CD-ROM featuring customized Excel®-based worksheets that complement the text. Commercial Investment Real Estate (CIRE) Magazine is available on a complimentary basis to educators in accredited university graduate and undergraduate real estate programs. Published bimonthly, CIRE provides in-depth analyses of current industry trends, interviews with successful real estate professionals, and insightful columns on topics including taxes, legal issues, market trends, regional markets, technology, success strategies, and real estate-related products and services. Site To Do Business Online (STDB) access is available to educators in accredited university graduate and undergraduate real estate programs. This powerful online resource provides comprehensive site analysis, mapping and demographic data, census reporting, aerial viewing, flood zone determination, financial analysis tools, transaction management tools, and a broad spectrum of other business services. STDB can be used for special projects, research, and use in the classroom for a specified time frame. For Students

University Scholarship Program - CCIM Institute has a scholarship program with nearly 30 accredited universities. One student from each academic institution is awarded a scholarship of $1,000 plus complimentary tuition to CCIM CI 101 Financial Analysis course. A recipient must be of junior, senior, or graduate-level standing, and be pursuing a career in commercial investment real estate or related fields of study. Check with your university’s program advisor to determine if your school participates and how you could quality.

CIRE Article Archive Search – Search online for articles from CIRE magazine archive on a wide variety of commercial investment real estate topics. CCIM Business FormsCCIM/APOD business form templates, provided at no cost, are used in all CCIM courses and are the tools leading real estate practitioners use to calculate property cash flows. Here you will find an Annual Property Operating Data form (APOD), Cash Flow Analysis Worksheet, and the Alternative Cash Sales Worksheet available for your use in completing course assignments.
