Volume 1, Issue 1 - January/February 2006
Dear CCIM Chapter Officers and Institute Leaders:
With the holidays behind us, we reflect upon a stellar year and brace ourselves
for a spectacular 2006! Chapters and regions are challenged to extend themselves
to reach higher goals and provide their local members with programs that promote
excellence. Each officer is challenged to bring extended recognition of the
CCIM designation beyond their local markets to a global level. We welcome all
our new officers and anxiously await the opportunity to share and exchange
new ideas and concepts.
One of the key goals of the Chapter Activities and Regional Activities Subcommittee
is to continue efforts to increase participation of our chapter officers on
both a regional and national level. Chapter officers will have several opportunities
to represent their local members beginning with our CCIM Partners regional
events, as well as at the upcoming Mid-Year meetings. This year’s meetings
will be held in Vancouver, BC (Canada), on April 26-29th at the Westin Bayshore
and Marina. Special travel requirements for Vancouver, along with important
details on our CCR, Comprehensive Exam and lodging are included in this newsletter.
CCIM chapter officers will have their first opportunity to promote excellence
through the Institute’s
President’s Cup Awards .
All chapters submitting their annual activity report along with their President’s
Cup submission by Wednesday, February 15, 2006, will automatically receive
the “Chapter of Excellence” award.
Don’t be left out of this special chapter recognition! See complete details
below or access the chapter link at www.ccim.com.
Set aside time for your success in 2006! The Institute is proud to sponsor
symposiums and regional events dedicated to your professional growth and success.
In addition to our CCIM Partners deal-making regional events, CCIM Institute
has teamed up with the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) to bring
you, “CCIM and IREM Success Series 2006.” This joint symposium
will debut October 20-21st at the Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel and Marina
in Tampa, FL, in conjunction with our annual business meetings. Imagine the
networking potential of 32,000 collective real estate professionals! Make plans
now to attend this premier industry event.
We look forward to working with all our chapter officers as we grow on a local,
regional and global level. We thank each of you for your commitment and want
to encourage you to reach for excellence.
